Staff Winners

CapitaLand Wear Less Day was an energy-saving fun activity organised by CapitaLand in conjunction with Earth Hour 2011. On Wear Less Day, CapitaLand increased the indoor air conditioning temperature of its properties in Singapore. With the temperature raised, staff and tenants were encouraged to dress down on that day. To turn up the heat further, CapitaLand threw in a competitive element by organising an online photo competition where staff and tenants at its buildings could take a photo of themselves in their "Wear Less" attire in the office and submit it online to the CapitaLand's Earth Hour website to take part in a lucky draw. Ten lucky winners were drawn from the submitted entries. Each winner was given an exclusive CapitaFrog (a CapitaLand mascot to propagate the green message) plush toy, CapitaVouchers worth S$20, an exclusive travel set and a CapitaLand commemorative book set. Tenant winners were presented with the prize by the building managers of the respective CapitaLand properties they are located in while the staff winners were presented with the prize by the respective heads of department.

The CapitaLand Wear Less Day won the “Participation Award for Most Creative Campaign” for Earth Hour 2011 by WWF in Singapore.
