Safdie's non-traditional approach also connects residents to nature, light, and air by incorporating lush expanses of greenery both horizontally and vertically. The apartments, ranging from 680 square feet to 3,000 square feet, are stacked in a distinctive "stepping form," allowing private garden spaces for a large number of units. Plenty of greenery also encompasses the buildings which have bountiful outdoor terraces. At ground level, walking paths are lined with native palm trees.
